Installation

Opening the control unit cover
Turn off the main switch or pull the mains
plug before opening the top control cover.
Wait 1 minute to let any residual voltage at
the motor terminal die down. Protect
against unauthorized starting.

Mains connection
The control is ready for connection by CEE 16A plug
and approx. 1m cable as shown in 4a.
The unit must be connected to the mains in

accordance with the existing power supply
voltage. The customer should provide a 10-
amp fused automatic circuit breaker for the
control. If the power cable of this device gets
damaged, it needs to be replaced by a special
connecting cable that is available from the
manufacturer or its service department.

Motor connecting lead
The ELCB cover needs to be unscrewed, in order
to connect the motor cable.
All EMC measures (ferrite rings, grounding

and screening) need to be carried out as
shown.

Terminal J8 is intended for operating devices, for AR
service, same as push-pull switch

The open time by the light barrier can be set to a
shorter time in menu 38. A light barrier or a light grid
at terminal J2 is required for reducing the hold-open
time.

Front area monitoring
If the closing speed is greater than 50 cm / s
than must the entire door width and depth
of 90 cm are monitored on both sides of the
door.
Connection diagram 8 shows the run-up monitoring
by motion and present detectors Condor.

Gate connection / Closing edge protection
Gate connection box (variants 9a, 9b & 9c) with slack
rope switch or break away sensor and wicket door
contact. When keeping the Prog button on menu 35
pressed for some time, the measured resistor value
of the 8K2 closing edge will be displayed.
Example: 82 means 8k2. When briefly pressing the
Prog button, the display will be interrupted.
Select the setting of the safety edge connection in
menu 35:
)
- Optical closing edge OSE - only OSE from Fraba or
Witt are permitted
- Electrical safety edge 8K2 with a termination
resistor of 8.2 kOhm (value = 1)
- Electrical safety edge 8K2 in series connection with
slack rope and wicket door switch (value = 3)
- Pressure wave edge and switch with a loop
resistance of 8.2 kOhm (value = 2)
- When using a light grid, RadioSafe or another
solution, connect the 8K2 resistor directly with
terminal J3. (value = 1)
Operate the safety edge with testing only.
Menu 35 = 2.

If in the menu the frame-fitted photocell has been
selected, the next time the door closes the control
unit automatically initiates a learning run to detect
the position. E10 will be disdplayed.
During this process the closing procedure
must not be interfered with, otherwise the
wrong position could be recorded.
The gate will not reverse during
this teach-in drive.

Anti-crash sensor
Input J6 detects when the curtain is off guide and
