6. Usage

The following sequence must be followed before each laser treatment:
1. Plug the FOC selected through the Start menu into the silicone adapter. There are 2 different silicone adapters available. Always
pull the FOC out of the holder individually and place them on the acupuncture point. Only handle the FOC using the white
holder.
2. Attach the silicone adapter to the patient by applying light pressure. Fixing tape is available for the blue silicone adapter. Follow
the numbering on the FOC and make sure that the numbered FOC has also been selected in the Start menu.
Don't exert strong pressure or pull on the silver sleeve at the end of the FOC.

4. Once all selected FOC have been attached to the patient, switch the 3B LASER NEEDLE on at the Control Touch Pad using the
LASER button.
5. Laser operation is shown on screen by "Laser in operation", at the identified LEDs and with an audible signal, every 20 seconds.
The audible signal can be deactivated with the speaker button.
Please note: No touchscreen operations are possible during laser output.
5. 3B LASER NEEDLE switches off automatically once the defined therapy duration time has expired. Switch-off is indicated by
3 short audible signals. Treatment can be stopped at any time by pressing the LASER button. This takes you back to the Start
menu.
6. Once the treatment is completed (FOC are now off), remove the individual cables from the silicone adapter starting from the left
and put them back in the corresponding holders. Continue until all FOC have been dealt with.
7. Switch the 3B LASER NEEDLE off, once the treatment is completed. To do this, press and hold the LASER button for 3 se-
conds.
8. If there is no operator action for 30 minutes, the Control Touch Pad switches off automatically. Pressing the LASER button swit-
ches the unit back on.
9. The Laser Unit can only be switched off by unplugging the power plug.
You may only use the 3B LASER NEEDLE if all Fiber optic cables (FOC) are connected.
If there is no FOC on one laserdiode, the laserdiode must be protected with a cap.
You may only exchange a FOC if the laser unit is shut off and the net plugs are disconnected.
The Control Touch Pad can also be operated under rechargeable battery power. To do this, pull out the plug on the back of the do-
cking station (slide the black outer ring backwards slightly).
The Control Touch Pad can also be separated from the docking station.
Please note: Once the treatment is completed, locate the Control Touch Pad back on the docking station, and click it into place.
Then plug the mains power back in.
The maximum treatment time with fully charged batteries is 3 hours. The battery charging status is displayed through the battery
symbol button.
Recommendation: The Control Touch Pad should be left on the docking station at all times.
The following must be observed if you wish to achieve optimum success with the therapy.
• To keep reflection losses as small as possible, skin must be grease-free.
• Only apply creams, lotions and ampoules when the laser treatment has been finished.
• The principle of increasing application applies to all treatments. Initial treatments should not be longer than 2 minutes.
