Do not store the battery near heat sources, indoors or in a potentially explosive atmosphere. The battery could ex-
plode or generate fire.
Do not charge the battery in damp rooms or outdoors.
Do not use or charge the battery close to heat sources or in the direct sunlight.
When the battery charge decreases, the tool speed decreases as well.
Do not leave the battery in the rain and store it in a dry place.
Do not put the tool, the battery or the charger into any liquids.
Do not insert nails, do not hammer or step on or throw or cause any other damage to the battery.
Do not carry out weldings on the battery.
Do not reverse the polarity of the connections or excessively discharge the battery.
Do not connect the battery to car chargers or cigarette lighter sockets.
Do not use the battery for devices which are other than those indicated by the Manufacturer.
Do not come into direct contact with lithium battery cells.
Do not put the battery into microwaves or containers with high temperatures or high pressures.
Do not use the battery in case of fluid loss.
Do not use the battery in an electrostatic environment (above 64V)
Do not use the battery if it is corroded, visibly deformed or unpleasantly smelly.
If your skin or clothes come in contact with the battery fluid, rinse them immediately with water.
Keep the battery fully charged when the tool is not used for long periods.
Always disconnect the charger from the electrical network when the batteries are charged up.
Always disconnect the batteries from the charger after recharging.

Packing and transport

The unit is packaged and sent in a carton box.
The handling of loads must be carried out in compliance with the current workplace safety rules. Use the CARRY-
ING CASE for storing the tool for medium or long periods or for sending the packed product to a Service Point for
repairs.
5.1

Tool use

1) Hold the tool with one hand without pulling the trigger (5) and switch it on with the other hand. When pressing the
ON/OFF button (1), the red LED indicator (2) starts flashing.
2) Pull up the trigger (5) and keep it pressed till the red LED indicator (2) stops to flash and the tool starts to work.
IMPORTANT!
The procedure indicated in points 1 and 2 must be repeated every time the tool is switched on again by means of
the ON/OFF button (1).
3) To select the speed, hold down the trigger (5). Press the + button (3) to increase up to a maximum shaking speed of
2200 strokes / minute, or press the - button (4) to decrease the shaking speed up to a minimum of 600 strokes / minute.
The selected speed is kept even after releasing the trigger (5) or turning off the tool by means of the ON/OFF button (1).
To harvest, enter the plant with the tool and carefully place the hook on a branch. Pull the branch and then briefly pull the
trigger (5). If the set shaking frequency is effective for making the berries detach from the branch, release the trigger (5)
and repeat the operation on another branch.
If only a small quantity of berries or also unripe ones fall down, the set speed and the position of the hooks on the branch
are not correct
Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product description". Any other use could cause injuries.
Operate the tool only when it is inserted among the branches. Any improper use causes greater tool wear and
battery (13) consumption.
