Battery charge

Connect the battery (13) to the battery charger (16) (picture 1) and the plug of the charger to the socket (picture 2). Avoid
using electrical extension cables, as they are a source of electrical risks.
The battery charger LED indicators (18) become red while charging. When the battery is charged up, the LED light (18)
becomes green.
Each recharge connector (17) has a corresponding indicator on the battery charger.
The batteries are charged in sequence, the one after the other, not simultaneously.
Charge with 3 batteries: picture 1 = Recharge in progress
Picture 2 = Recharge completed
Important: When two or three batteries are connected to the battery charger, they will be charged in sequence, starting
from the first, followed by the second and then by the third one. The LED light (18) becomes red during recharge, green
when recharge is over.
As soon as the first battery is charged up (shown by the green LED light), the recharge of the second battery will start,
followed by the third one, if they are all connected to the battery charger.
During long periods of inactivity of the tool, it is recommended to charge the battery every 3 months, so as not to
compromise its lifespan.
Use only the charger supplied with the tool. A different one with other specifications could cause fires.
4.2.1

Warnings during and after the charge operation

While recharging, the charger and the battery (13) become warm.
To make a battery reach its maximum capacity, about 5 charging and discharging cycles are necessary, if it is A new
battery or if it has not been used for a long period.
Do not charge the battery at a room temperature below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F).
Do not recharge a previously charged battery after few minutes of use, so as not to reduce its perfor-mance.
Do not use a damaged battery.
Do not disassemble either the battery or the battery charger.
When the battery is not assembled on the tool, keep it away from conductive metal objects, in order to avoid short cir-
cuit risks.
Do not cause a short circuit of the battery.
