Deleting programmed wireless inbuilt switches from a
remote switch.
• Press the button „I" and „O" on the wireless wall switch simultaneously, or the buttons „ON"
and „OFF" for the switching channel to which the wireless inbuilt switch was programmed. The
„Indicator" LED on the wireless inbuilt switch then starts blinking.
• Press the button „O" on the wireless wall switch, or press the buttons „ALL-ON" and „ALL-
OFF", on a remote control, simultaneously. The „Indicator" LED goes out. All wireless inbuilt
switches have been deleted successfully from the remote control.
Activating / deactivating the consumer load
In order to activate or deactivate the wireless flush-mounted switch, briefly press the button of
the wireless mount switch once. Alternatively, the connected consumer load can be activated or
deactivated with the programmed wireless remote switch.
The wireless wall switch's dimmer function
The dimmer function can only be used together with a suitable dimmer.
• Turn on the dimmer, by briefly pressing the „I" button on the wireless wall switch once.
• Press the „I" button on the wall transmitter again. The dimmer function is activated.
• Press the „I" button again. The dimmer function is deactivated.
Maintenance and Care
Except for a battery change, the products do not require any maintenance. Never open or dis-
assemble them.
Only clean the product with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or che-
mical solutions since these might damage the surface of the casing or impair the operation.
Handling
• System components are only intended for operation in dry indoor locations.
• The following unfavourable conditions are to be avoided at the place of installation
or during transport:
- Humidity and damp may cause damage to the product
- Direct sunlight
- Extreme cold or heat
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or
loudspeakers
• Ensure that the insulation for the entire product is neither damaged nor destroyed.
Never disassemble the product! There are no serviceable parts inside.
• Check the product for damage before use!
If you notice any damage, do not use the product any longer!
There is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock!
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible:
- if the device is visibly damaged
- if the device no longer works
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
Range
The transmission range of the radio signals is up to 70 m under optimum conditions.
This value, however, is the so-called „open space range" (the range when
transmitter and receiver are visible to each other, without interfering
influences).
In practical operation, however, there are walls, ceilings of rooms etc. between
the transmitter and the receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the different influences on the radio transmission, no specific range
can be guaranteed.
Nevertheless, trouble-free operation in a single-family home is usually
possible.
The coverage can partly be limited considerably by:
• walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
• coated/metallised insulated glass
• proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g. radiators)
• proximity to human bodies
• Broadband interferences, e.g. in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobile phones, radio-
controlled headphones, radio-controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations, baby
phones etc.)
• Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units, computers
• The proximity to improperly shielded or uncovered operating computers or other electric
appliances
Disposal
a) General
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to
indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the
heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries and button cells free of
charge to any authorised disposal station in your area, to our stores or to any
other store where batteries/storage batteries/button cells are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
