Radio Flush-Mounted Switch Set RSL2

Intended use
This radio flush-mounted switch set is intended for wirelessly turning consumer loads connected
to it on or off via a suitable radio transmitter (e.g. the supplied radio wall transmitter).
The wireless flush-mounted switch and the wireless wall transmitter are only intended for use in
dry indoor locations.
Power is supplied to the wireless inbuilt switch via 230V/AC 50Hz. A maximum consumer load
of 1000 watts Ohm resistive load, or 300 watts inductive load can be connected.
The wireless wall transmitter is powered by a 12 V battery (type: 27A).
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. These
instructions not only protect the device but, in particular, your health. Please read the entire
operating manual before using the product.

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to obser-
ve these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The
warranty will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Power is supplied to the wireless flush-mounted switch via 230V/AC 50Hz. A
maximum consumer load of 1000 watts Ohm resistive load, or 300 watts
inductive load can be connected.
• The wireless wall transmitter is powered by a 12 V battery (type: 27A).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore,
be especially careful when children are around.
• Never expose the system components to extremely high or extremely low tem-
peratures, humidity or vibrations.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or close to medical institutions or devices
(e.g. pacemakers). Although the product emits only relatively weak radio signals,
these may lead to the malfunction of life-support systems. The same may be the
case in other areas.
Connection and installation
The wireless wall switch and the wireless flush-mounted switch are only
intended for use in dry indoor locations.
The wireless flush-mounted switch is suitable, for example for flush-mounted
sockets Ø68 mm (e.g. Conrad order no. 624926 or order no. 612132). Before
the wireless inbuilt switch can be installed, it must be connected.
Make sure that the connections for the wireless inbuilt switch are voltage free
during installation.
The connection cables must not be kinked or squeezed.
This can result in malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables or wires are not damaged when drilling or bolting in
place.
• Carefully remove the front panel of the wireless wall switch

(e.g. with a screwdriver) (see Figure on the right).

• Remove the mounting plate. The mounting plate of the
wireless flush-mounted switch is secured with four clips on
the electronics unit of the wireless wall wall switch (see
Figure on the right).
• The mounting plate has two mounting holes (See the
Figure on the right). Remove the mounting plate and mark
the mounting holes on the wall.
• Drill the holes.
• Fix the mounting plate with suitable installation material at
the desired location.
• Attach the electronics unit of the wireless wall switch to the
mounting plate.
• Insert a 12V-battery (type: 27A) into the battery compart-
ment of the wireless wall switch, paying attention to the
correct polarity.
• Attach the front plate to the wireless wall switch.
Connection:
Power is supplied to the wireless flush-mounted switch via
230V/AC 50 Hz. Ohm resistive load up to 1000 Watt or
inductive load up to 300 Watt may be connected.
Make sure the power supply cables are voltage-free during
connection.

Insert the wireless flush-mounted switch into a suitable
socket (e.g. flush-mounted sockets Ø68 mm Conrad
Electronic order no. 624926 or order no. 612132).
Programming the wireless inbuilt switch to a wireless wall
switch
• Switch the power supply of the wireless inbuilt switch on. The „Indicator" LED of the wireless
inbuilt switch starts flashing.
• Press the button „I" on the wireless wall switch or the corresponding „ON" button e.g. on a
wireless remote control, before the „Indicator" LED stops blinking. The „Indicator" LED on the
wireless inbuilt dimmer glows. The programming has been completed successfully.
Connect the neutral wire
of the electrical supply 230V/AC
50 Hz.

of the consumer load here.
Connect the phase

Up to 10 radio transmitters can be programmed to the wireless inbuilt switch.
