4 Put the upper back strap on like a jacket. First put one arm through
the shoulder sling attached to the waistband on one side and then
do the same on the other side.
Note: Make sure the BlueTouch Pain Relief Patch in the strap is located on
the area to be treated and the LED area is in contact with the skin.
5 Fasten the waistband with the Velcro strips.
6 Adjust the shoulder slings to the preferred length.
7 Alternatively, you can first put the upper back strap on your back,
fasten the waistband and then attach the Velcro strips of the shoulder
slings crosswise to the waistband. This may provide a better fit for
some individuals.

Treatment procedure

1 Press the mode button one or more times to select one of the three
treatment modes.
2 After you have selected the treatment mode (see section 'Selecting
the treatment modes' in this chapter), the BlueTouch Pain Relief
Patch beeps and all LEDs come on in power-save mode.
3 Treatment starts after the BlueTouch Pain Relief Patch has been
placed on the skin and the sensor of the patch senses a temperature
of at least 33°C for at least 5 seconds.
