weight difference adapting is performed by metal removal from a knife edges.
Adjust the knives according to sub-item 10.3.
In case of replacement (adjustment) of plane knives, before unscrewing the screws settle
them (impact on the head of the screw with a hammer through hexagonal stick) in order
to preserve integrity of screws and threads of the plane shaft (fig. 24). This is necessary to
remove stress from threaded portions of the screws. In case of slipping of the hexagon,
hammer the T-27 TORX asterisk into the screw hole and unscrew it. Such screws shall be
consequently replaced with new ones.
It's recommended to use carbide saw blades for the present machine type.
Note that the type of saw blade depends on the material being processed.
When mounting the saw blade watch the rotation direction. The direction of saw teeth should
correspond to the direction of the arrow marked on the guarding above the table level.
● lower the saw blade 32 or disc cutter 12 to the bottom position using the blade depth
adjustment handle 28 (figure 1) as displayed on figure 25.
● Unscrew the blade depth adjustment thumb nut 54 of the saw blade 32 or disc cutter
12.
● Using a screwdriver, remove the casing 57 of the saw blade or disc cutter (figure 1).
● Return the blade depth adjustment thumb nut 54 to its place.
● Raise the saw blade 32 or disc cutter 12 to full top position and fix it with blade depth
adjustment thumbscrew 54.
● Insert the wrench 15 into the space between the saw blade or disc cutter and the insert
30 of the saw table (figure 1), fix the position of the collar of saw blade or disc cutter.
● Using the box wrench 7, loosen the threaded joint of clamping nut 79 and the collar of
saw blade 32 or disc cutter 12 (figure 25).
The nut 79 has left hand thread. Screwing – counter clockwise, unscrewing –
clockwise.
● Loosen the blade depth adjustment thumbscrew 54 and lower the saw blade 32 or disc
cutter 12 to the bottom (transportation) position.
● Unscrew the blade depth adjustment thumbscrew 54.
● Remove the clamping nut 79 and saw blade 32 or disc cutter 12.
To replace the driving belt, perform the following:
● Remove the saw blade as described in sub-item 12.2.1;
● Remove the rear part of saw blade casing 57 (figure 1) by unscrewing the fixation
screws 57b;
● Loosen the tension of belt 81 (figure 26), by pulling the motor 83 up or removing the
recoil spring 82;
● Mount the new belt;
● Assemble the system in adverse order.
