The universal transmitter periodically samples signals from thermo-
couples, resistance transducers, strain gauges, resistive sensors, etc.
These signals are converted into output signals proportional to the
measured values. The characteristic can be controlled via the IrDA
interface. The output signal can be a voltage or a current.
3-port isolation with protective separation up to 300 V AC/DC accord-
ing to EN 61140 ensures optimum protection of personnel and equip-
ment as well as unaltered transmission of measuring signals.
