IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
• Read all Instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse
cord, plug, control panel, or motor housing in water or other liquid.
• Only the heating and water circulation portion of the sous-vide should
be immersed. In the event that any other parts accidentally submerge in
liquid, unplug the device immediately and contact Customer Service.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact
Consumer Support at the toll free number listed in the warranty section.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Use tongs when reaching within the water bath.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving containers of hot liquids.
• Operate the sous-vide immersion cooker in water ONLY. Do not use it
in other liquids or operate outside of water. Maintain the water level
between the MIN and MAX lines.
• To disconnect, press and hold the Power/Start button
on the display panel turn off, remove plug from wall outlet, then remove
sous-vide from the water pot.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible or their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
