1) Coil the eye to eye sling four times around the climbing
line as shown.
2) Start to braid the friction hitch cord, with the leg origina-
ting from the top of the hitch on the outside of the first and
third crossovers and underneath on the second and fourth
crossovers. The legs of the cord should be approximately
equal. The first crossover is the crossing of upper leg and
bottom coil.
3) Continue braiding until four crossovers have been made.
Install the pulley on the rope and place a stitched eye to
each side of the bottom holes of the pulley. Ensure the ho-
les of the pulley are correctly aligned. Pass an oval karabi-
ner through the stitched eyes and the bottom holes of the
pulley. Place a constriction band at the top of the spine of
the karabiner, just below the configured sling and pulley.
