Apply multi-purpose grease to all joints on a regular basis.
A complete replacement of the hydraulic oil may only be carried out by specialist workshops.
Check the oil level and top up oil on a regular basis. (That is necessary if the hydraulic jack does not reach the
required lifting height any more.) The piston of the hydraulic cylinder must be fully retracted. Add hydraulic oil up
to the lower edge of the oil filler screw.
Use hydraulic oil (type HLP ISO VG 32) only.
Maintenance work on the hydraulic jack is permitted by authorised personnel only.
Repairs may only be carried by specialist workshops only.
Air accumulates in hydraulic systems during transport, which can impair the operation of the hydraulic jack.
To vent the hydraulic system, proceed as follows:
1.
Open the vent valve #4 by turning it anti-clockwise (Attention! Never unscrew or remove it completely!) and pump
at the same time using the foot pedal #2.
2.
Then, pump the hydraulic jack once to its full height and then pull it apart again.
Comply with the national legislation for the disposal of the hydraulic jack. Bear in mind that hydraulic oil disposed of
incorrectly can pollute the environment.
We cannot be held liable for any damage or injuries resulting from incorrect use or any use other than the in-
The hydraulic jack is only to be used for the applications described.
• Never use them for purposes other than those intended.
• Hydraulic jacks may only be used to lift, lower and manoeuvre loads. Secure raised vehicles immediately against
being moved inadvertently.
• Performing work or holding any parts of the body under the vehicle without it being supported on chassis stands is
strictly prohibited.
• The raised vehicle must be supported safely and firmly and must never moved in an uncontrolled manner.
• Only use accessories approved by the manufacturer.
• Please bear in mind that hydraulic jacks are heavy devices. Never lift them on your own.
• Position the vehicle on firm, flat ground.
• No persons may be in the vehicle to be lifted.
• On the hydraulic jack, the wheels are the vehicle's mounting points and they provide a firm hold.
• Before lifting the vehicle, secure the wheels remaining on the ground with wedges against rolling away.
• Adjust the mounting points to the centre of the rollers of the hydraulic jack's wheel holder.
• Make sure the rollers of the hydraulic jacks are in full working order, as the position of the hydraulic jack will change
slightly when the vehicle is raised and lowered.
• Always observe the valid occupational health and safety regulations. If you have any questions, consult your em-
ployer.
• Hydraulic jacks must not come into contact with power sources.
• Do not use hydraulic jacks in potentially explosive environments.
• Hydraulic jacks damaged or worn due to excessive loads must not be used any more until they have been repaired/
serviced. Contact the manufacturer for this.
• Prior to repairs/maintenance, the information in the operating instructions and in the spare parts list must be read and
understood.
• Repairs may only be carried out by specialist workshops.
• Maintenance work may only be carried out by qualified personnel, taking the operating instructions and safety instruc-
tions into account.
• The hydraulic jacks must never be altered technically.
