1.
If possible, take the hydraulic jack out of the box with the aid of a second person.
2.
The RH60 is completely assembled and ready for operation immediately.
3.
The hook #6 is for holding down the foot pedal #2 during transport.
The prescribed safety instructions are to be observed when using the hydraulic jack.
Shut down the engine and apply the vehicle's handbrake.
Remove the locking pin #3 from the hole.
Then, open the vent valve #4 by turning it anti-clockwise (Attention! Never unscrew it or remove it completely!).
Push both rollers #5 of the wheel holder apart to position them under the wheel. Both rollers #5 must have con-
tact with the tyre on both sides.
Close the vent valve #4 by turning it clockwise.
Check that the hydraulic jack is aligned parallel to the wheel and has a clearance of about 20 mm to the rim
well. Any non-parallel alignment will generate transverse forces that are too high and that could destroy the
rollers #5, thus rendering the warranty invalid for the hydraulic jack.
Operate the foot pedal #2 with short strokes at first to press the rollers #5 firmly against the tyre. Then, continue
to pump with full strokes, until the tyre lifts off the ground (max. 30 mm). (The closer the vehicle's wheel is to the
ground, the more steadily can the vehicle be moved using 4 hydraulic jacks.)
Insert the locking pin #3 completely into the hole.
Carry out the steps described above on all four wheels before the vehicle may be moved with the hydraulic
jacks.
Before lowering the vehicle, check that no persons or limbs of persons are under the vehicle.
Carefully remove the locking pin #3. (if it jams slightly, then press the foot pedal #2 to get the necessary play.)
Then, open the locking pin #4 by turning it anti-clockwise (Attention! Never unscrew it or remove it completely!).
Push both rollers #5 of the wheel holder apart to release them from the tyre and pull the hydraulic jack forwards.
Carry out these steps at all four wheels before the vehicle stands on the ground again.

2. Function of the hydraulic jack
A hydraulic jack is a lifting device that is used under the
wheels of a vehicle to raise the vehicle and then manoeuvre
it. After lifting the vehicle, the hydraulic jack must always be
secured with the locking pin #3. Only use the holes intended
for the locking pin.
Observe the safety instructions for the hydraulic jack.
