1. INTRODUCTION
The edition 03 of the general electric fitting instructions
implements following points:
new exterior control box with battery switch [See Fig.
1.1] from 2010 onwards
Compact hydraulic power pack with integrated controls
[See Fig. 1.2]
amendment to the European Standard, called EN1756
-1:2001+A1:2008 in its newest form.
Consult the manuals ELEC GENERAL 01 and 02
for older types of control boxes.
For the majority of DHOLLANDIA tail lifts (named HTL
hereafter) in standard execution, the control box is pre-
wired in the hydraulic power pack.
As a consequence, the electric installation is therefore
normally limited to:
The physical mounting of the exterior control box to
the vehicle body or chassis
The connection of the (+) battery cable from the con-
trol box or power pack to the positive pole of the vehi-
cle batteries, or an other power source
The connection of the (-) earth cable from the electro-
motor in the power pack to the negative pole of the
vehicle batteries, or an other earth point
And the installation of the auxiliary controls (foot con-
trols, wander lead, fixed interior control...)
If applicable: the fitting of a cabin switch on the
dashboard of the vehicle.
