Checking the installation
Checklist
1. Is the beam unobstructed between the transmitter and receiver
2. Are the same channels adjusted with transmitters and receivers belonging together?
3. Are the individual parabolic mirrors aligned to optimum?
4. Are the screws at the mirror holders tightened enough?
5. Are all cable clamps tightened strong enough?
6. Are transmitter and receiver switched into operating mode?
7. Are there heating elements installed for outdoor application?
8. Has the operating voltage at transmitter and receiver (12-24 V) been checked ?
9. Has the operating voltage at devices and pillar's heaters (12, 24, or 48 V) been checked?

Operational test

1. Check the alignment by using the enclosed cardboard cut-outs („Shadow paper"): when the whole
of the cut-out is positioned in the middle of the mirror, the receiving signal shouild still be at
maximum. If not, readjust the beam.
2. Disconnect the upper mirror of the receiver → no alarm should be activated.
3. Disconnect the lower mirror at the receiver → no alarm should be activated.
4. Disconnect the upper and lower mirrors → an alarm should be activated,
the top LED (alarm) on the receiver lights up.
