Synchronising the transmitters
It is only necessary to synchronise transmitters when more than one transmitter is beaming in the
same direction. For this purpose both clamps 9 - Sync and clamps 10 - Sync-COM must be connected
together to the transmitter (see wiring examples).
A maximum of four transmitters can be synchronised together, each set to a different channel. The
transmitters will synchronise by themselves after powering up.

Alignment procedure

Step-by-step instructions for aligningthe mirrors:
1. Loosen locking screw on the mirror holder until the mirrors can be adjusted by hand.
2. Point the mirror as accurately as possible towards its corresponding mirror on the
opposite pillar. Over large distances, use the periscope. A flashlight can be used to help
locate the opposite pillar.
3. Tighten the locking screw of the mirror until it is no longer possible to adjust it by hand.
4. Set the MO adjustment switches on both devices to the corresponding position of the
mirror.
5. Adjust the mirror on both devices with the key until as many LED's as possibleare lit.
6. Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the second set of mirrors.
Range of adjustment
Transmitter
The parabolic mirrors can be adjusted horizontally by approx.
±90° and vertically approx. ±15°. Consequently, the devices do
not have to point in just one direction. A spanner has been
included to make fine adjustments.
Note that when installing the devices inside pillars, the
adjustment range will be reduced.
