Armed/disarmed
In the armed position, the system is „ready for operation". This means that all indicators are switched to
dark and a break in the IR beam will cause an alarm output, setting the first alarm memory.
When disarmed, the first alarm memory is blocked.
Walk test
It serves the system's remote test via a central control device. An active walk test switches off the
transmitter and an alarm is then detected at the receiver.
Sabotage
A sabotage alarm output is linked through a potential-free switch contact. This is only available for
single units (in case of pillar-mounted devices, it is linked to the cover contact which will be installed
inside the pillars).
Indication of Crossillumination ( Disqualification & Technical alarm are parallel )
A crossillumination through an foreign transmitter, used for surmounting or direct sunlight, indicate a
Crossillumination. In case of this indication will be both outputs activated, disqualification and technical
alarm, but if the IR beam is missing on the receiver, they suppress the alarm. Foreign disruptive
actions activate the indication of crossillumination and eliminate the false alarm's.
The assembly procedure is as follows:
• Before the installation of pillars, first prepare the base covers and pillars.
• Provide base covers for the concrete foundation.
• Wall-mounted devices need to be fastened by drilling.
• For outdoor use, install heating elements into the pillars.
• Install the devices at the correct height.
• Wire the transmitter and receiver.
• Align the transmitter and receiver optimally.
• Adjust the system parameters.
• Check that the system is functioning correctly.
Each pair of devices must be arranged so that the beam runs between transmitter and receiver without
being interupted by growing bushes, shrubs, or other objects (whose height should be kept below a
certain level.
Installation of the single units
The devices must be mounted vertically on a solid surface using the plastic footpads to provide
sufficient ventilation and isolation. For wall-mounted devices, use the base as a template for marking
the screw hole locations. The mounting surface must be free from vibration.
To open the device, carefully release the housing cover
locking.
Two plastic holders on the top and bottom of the base are used
to fix the devices. The cable entry hole is located on the left
side of the base. When finished installing and wiring, carefully
replace the cover and secure it by means of the blocking
clamps.
