USING THE GUIDING ROPE (ref. FA 70 900 XX)
The purpose of this attached rope is to deflect the victim from the axis of evacuation if necessary (obstacle, etc.) In this case, the
rescuer connects the guiding rope after securing the victim (step 5).
IMPORTANT: For the victim's comfort, connect the guiding rope onto the harness in the same anchoring point as that used for
the evacuation rope.
The use of the guiding rope requires the presence of a guide person on the ground.
