If by any reason whatsoever the appliance
has not been switched off automatically by
the boilstop during the last use, it starts
immediately to heat after the plug has been
put in the power socket. In this case wait
until the water boils and the automatic boil
stop switches the appliance off. For the
next boiling use the ON switch to switch the
appliance on.

cleaning anD care

1. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
2. Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance and
unplug it from the power supply.
3. Do not immerse the base, power cord or
kettle in water or other liquids or wash them
in the dishwasher.
4. Wipe off the base and the kettle with a damp

Descaling

1. To keep the appliance operating efficiently
and to prolong its service life, it should
be descaled regularly, depending on the
hardness of your water.
2. To descale the kettle, fill it no more than
half full with a solution of half water and
half household vinegar. Bring the liquid to a
boil and leave it in the kettle for a while.
3. Pour the descaling solution out of the
kettle.
