Use
Accessory set 1 687 016 141 is required to supply test-
ing oil via connection adapter to commercial-vehicle
injectors having internal connectors.

This accessory set is required only for the test kit
CRI/CRIN 848H (1 687 002 848) up to production
date 10-2014. Starting from production date 11-2014,
the contents of the accessory set are included in the
scope of delivery of the test kit.

Operating instructions
Preparation of inlet connector
1. Loosely attach the pressure pipe coupling (item 3)
with union nut (item 2) on the connector (item 4).
2. Push the O-ring 9.5 x 2 (item 1) over the inlet con-
nector (item 3).

A mixed operation using the old and the new inlet
connectors is not permitted.

Fitting connection adapter
1. Pushing injector (fig.2, item 1) into the connection
adapter. The high-pressure inlet bore hole must be
aligned with the hole for the inlet connector (fig.2,
item 3).
2. Turn the injector until the high-pressure inlet bore is
visible in the hole for the inlet connector.

Tightening torque must be adhered to when tighten-
ing the inlet connector. Too high tightening torque
can lead to pre-existing defect and breakage of the
inlet connector during the test.
3. Screw in the inlet connector (fig.2, item 3) into the
connection adapter and tighten. Tightening torque:
20 – 25 Nm.
