4. Seat Attachment and Adjustment Instructions
4.1 2-Seat Model :
The back seat should be attached:
- At the back of the kayak with the straps provided.
- Adjust the seat straps to your liking. For more effi ciency during your outing, sit in an «upright» position.
4.2 Single Seat Model :
- Remove the front seat.
- Adjust the seat straps to centre the seat in the kayak.
WARNING !
In both cases (single or 2-seat), make sure to distribute the weight evenly so the kayak does not capsize.
Respect the maximum weight limits given on the kayak specifi cations tag.
Adjust the seats in the kayak so that the point formed by the front side pockets creates a footrest for the front kayaker.
Also, make sure the back of the front seat creates a footrest for the back kayaker.

5. Maintenance and Storage

5.1 Maintenance :
Oil, petrol, toluene, petroleum and other solvents are damaging to the kayak's surface.
Rinse the kayak with non-salty water before long term storage.
You can wash it with tepid water and soap.
The following parts can be ordered from your DECATHLON store: Repair kit, front seat, back seat, carrying bag, side and bottom
bladders, 3-part valves.
5.2 Folding :
Before folding the kayak, clean and dry it.
Remove the kayak seats and defl ate them.
Defl ate the kayak using the valves on the three main air chambers (fi g. 2 : b, e).
Defl ating may be accelerated by rolling the kayak towards the valves.
Ensure that no pointed objects are under or in the kayak.
After defl ating, spread out the kayak with the bottom on the ground. Fold the side chambers towards the inside of the kayak.
Next, fold the kayak in two and fold it towards the valves.
Keep the kayak folded and put it in the carrying bag with the accessories.
5.3 Storing :
Store the kayak in a dry and protected place between 10°C and 25°C (+50°F and 77°F).
In case of long term storage, we recommend occasionally infl ating the kayak for 24 hours to that it does not lose its shape.

Ce kayak est conçu pour 2 adultes ou 1 adulte et 1 enfant, pour la pratique de la petite randonnée (< 3 heures), en mer (fi g. 1a), en lac
(fi g. 1b) ou en rivière calme (fi g. 1c).
Il peut également être utilisé par une seule personne (voir paragraphe 4.2).
Catégorie de construction D « eaux protégées » conformément à la directive n° 94/25/CE du Parlement et du Conseil Européens.
Le bateau de plaisance est conçu pour la navigation sur eau calme où l'on peut s'attendre à une force de vent atteignant
jusqu'à un degré de 4 inclus sur l'échelle de Beaufort et entraînant une hauteur de vague pouvant atteindre jusqu'à 0,5m inclus.
IK100-2 est construit en conformité avec la norme EN ISO 6185-1, catégorie IIIB.

2. Description technique (fi g. 2)
Le kayak TRIBORD IK100-2 présente plusieurs chambres à air :
- 2 chambres latérales, équipées de valves à 3 éléments (e),
- 1 fond (d), équipé d'une valve de sécurité
- 2 sièges équipés de valves de sécurité (c).
Le kayak est fourni dans un sac de transport en tissu, avec un kit de réparation contenant des instructions sur la réalisation des réparations.
