Stacker Conveyors
Avoid installing the belt scale in any conveyor that is not a permanent structure. Because
stacker conveyors usually vary in incline, elevation, or profile, the accuracy of the belt
scale can be compromised under these conditions. A belt scale can be used effectively in
a conveyor of this type, but it requires special consideration.
Recommendation:

Conveyor Trippers
Not as common as a conveyor with a vertical curvature, trippers can still be troublesome
to scales.

Skirt Boards and Sealing Strips
In some applications it is necessary to extend the infeed skirt boards and sealing strips
