To preserve battery life, remove the battery from the accessory if you do not
plan to use it for some time.
Do not use damaged, warped or leaking batteries.
If the battery leaks, discontinue use immediately and contact Nintendo Customer
Support. Use in this state could lead to further accidents.
CAREFUL USAGE
Do not store at extreme temperatures.
Do not expose the battery to excessive physical shock.
Ensure that you dispose of the battery in accordance with local regulations.

3. Inserting the Battery

The Circle Pad Pro requires one AAA (LR03) or (HR03) battery. Follow the instruc-
tions below to insert the battery.
Note: If a child will be using the accessory, a parent or legal guardian should carry out this procedure.
Remove the battery cover.
Use a coin or a flat screw-
driver to turn the screw and
remove the battery cover.
Insert the battery.
Insert the minus (–) end of the battery first. Ensure
that the battery is facing the correct direction.
Note: When removing the battery, remove the plus (+) end first.
Replace the battery
cover and screw.

4. Connecting the Circle Pad Pro
Firmly place the Nintendo 3DS XL system into the
Circle Pad Pro until you hear it click.
Hold the accessory as shown here.
5. Removing the Circle Pad Pro
Ensure that the Nintendo 3DS XL system is closed. Gently lift
up the system from the front until it is free of the accessory.
Do not leave the system open and do not lift it using the
upper screen, as this can lead to accidents.
