Inspection and maintenance

Check the surface of the pedal regularly and carefully, especially after falls or other situations with high force, Damage is difficult to de­
tect. discoloration, cracks and waves in the surface, as well as cracking and creaking noises may indicate damage due to overload. Also
make sure to check the bearings of your pedals on a refgular basis, as these can become loose as a result of a crash or other situations.
Warning
If in doubt, do not continue cycling and consult your SQlab dealer without delay.

Care

Only use water, detergent and a brush for cleaning. Do not use a steam jet, it can flush the existing grease out of the bearings.
Warning
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as acetone, trichlorethylene or similar; this could attack the paint and the material.
