FILLING THE FILTER
◗
Before proceeding with this operation, make sure
that the fi lter is resting in its base and is in its fi nal
location. Check that the bottom drain plug is in
place. (see the fi ltration installation instructions
for information concerning its assembly).
◗
Inside the fi lter, fi t the laterals onto the collector
tube, do not tighten excessively.
◗
Cover the top of the collector tube with adhesive
tape. Make sure that the tube is centred.
◗
Pour the sand in carefully to avoid damaging the
laterals. When beginning to fi ll the fi lter, ensure
that the tube is centred and that the laterals are
not in contact with the bottom of the fi lter tank.
This could impede mounting of the valve. Fill at
most up to 2/3 of the fi lter height.
◗
After removing any sand from the top of the fi lter
and the tube, take off the adhesive tape. Check
that the o-ring is present in its groove inside the
valve.
◗
Mount the valve without forgetting the o-ring (X).
Finish assembly by fi tting the collar clamp (H).
Tighten until the gap between the two halves of
the collar clamp is even (15 to 20 mm). Tighten
both sides alternately.
For further information, do not hesitate to refer to
additional installation instructions.

CAUTION
TO ENSURE OPTIMUM
PERFORMANCE LEVELS
AND PROTECT YOUR
INSTALLATION, only use
sand of the same quality and
type and that provided in
your kit !
The sand should not be
higher than 2/3 of the fi lter
