TO OPERATE DRIVE SYSTEM (See Fig.6)
This Scarifier is a self-propelled machine
- To start forward motion, hold the det hatching
control bar to the chassis , and then hold the
dethatching clutch lever down to the upper handle .
- To stop for ward motion, release dethatching clutch
lever .
ADJUST ING THE R AKING DEPT H (See Fig. 8)
- Never adjust the dethatching depth with the motor
still running .
- The rake is adjusted to one dethatching depth
upon delivery .
- You can set the dethatching height to the desired
depth to fit different lawn . Turn the knob to rear
position to increase the dethatching depth or to
front position to decrease the raking depth .
WARNING: The Scarifier can only be used on level lawns if the lowest raking height is being used
.
CAUTION: Do not run your Scarifier without clipping deflector or approved grass catcher in place . Do not touch
rotating tines .
