Wall: Connect a size DN 100 tube (not included) to
the wall adapter. Push this tube through the hole
already made in the wall to the outside. If necessary,
additionally fasten the wall adapter to the wall with

When the unit is not being used, fit the cover cap to
the outside end of the high temperature tube.
7. Draining the condensation water
tank (fig. 6)
Water collects in the removable condensation water
tank during the cooling and dehumidifying processes.
When the condensation water tank is full, an acoustic
sound is emitted several times and the compressor
in the device automatically switches off. The fan
continues to run for three minutes until the device
completes switches off.
Carefully pull out the tank using the handle and drain
the tank. After draining, wash out the tank using
soapy water (max. 40 °C) and allow to dry in the
shade.
Properly reinsert the tank.
Important!
Do not remove the condensation water tank during
the cooling or dehumidifying process. If you want to
drain the tank ahead of time, the device must be
switched off and remain inactive for three minutes
so that the water in the internal hose system also can
drain into the tank. Never remove the rubber hose
plug inside the housing when draining the
condensation water tank. Doing so can damage the
device.
8. Continuous water drainage option
(fig. 7)
Switch off the device.
Fold out the drain connection (1) and connect the
supplied drainage hose (2) to the drain fitting (3).
Secure the hose using a hose clamp (not included).
Route the drainage hose to the outside.
Important! The drain connection may only be folded
out to connect the hose. The drainage hose must not
be kinked in order to prevent water damage from
occurring.
Notes!
When the drain connection is made, water runs from

the condensed water hose inside the device to the
tank. If this hose is clogged, the device can
malfunction, with condensed water leakage.
9. Cleaning work performed by the end
consumer (fig. 8)
Always pull the mains plug to avoid an electric shock
or risk of fire before performing any cleaning work.
Cleaning the air filter
The air conditioner is equipped with 2 filters:
1. Dust filter (close meshed filter net)
2. Activated carbon filter (traps airborne particles and
prevents bacteria from forming)
a) Dust filter
Remove the filter cover by pressing down and pulling
out the filter cover tab. Now remove the activated
carbon filter.
Use a vacuum cleaner or lightly beat the dust filter. If
the filter is very dirty, carefully wash it out using
warm water. Allow the filter to thoroughly dry. Never
place the filter in direct sunlight and never insert a
damp filter into the device!
b) Activated carbon filter
The activated carbon filter (3) is located behind the
dust filter (2) and is not washable. The service life of
the filter depends on how the device is used
(operating conditions). The filter should be checked
and replaced if necessary.
After the filters have been checked/cleaned, they are
reattached to the filter cover hook (1).
The filter cover (with both filters) is then reinstalled
on the device.
Cleaning the housing
Use only a gentle cleaner and a soft cloth to clean
the housing. Never use aggressive media, petrol,
alcohol or thinner. Only fit the filter back in place
when thoroughly dry.
Season end
At season's end, be sure to empty the water tank,
remove the rubber hose plug inside the housing by
the water tank and drain any sitting water. Allow the
device to run in FAN mode for approximately 6
hours. Then coil up the power cord and clean the
filter and housing. Reinsert the filter when dry and it
place the device back into the original box for
storage (recommended).
