4. Assembling the in-Ceiling Housing

Illustrations Note: The ceiling plate must be no thicker than 2.4cm.

Mark and cut out a section with 184 ∅ in the ceiling plate by means of a stencil (packaging box).

Screw dome connector plate to the ceiling bracket
Pull power supply cable, video cable and data cable through the gap in the dome connector plate.

Insert bracket into the ceiling gap and secure.

In order to secure the bracket, this may be attached to the ceiling by means of the arrester cable
Connect the external video cable (with BNC-socket) to the video cable of the dome connector plate. Connect power supply and data cable
to the contact strip.
Note: When connecting several cameras, the second 24VAC-connector can be used as an output.
Install dome-ID (identification).
Pull off safety strip.

Insert the camera into the ceiling connector plate. The indicator „lock open" must thereby snap into the nib of the connector plate.
Twist the dome camera to the right until a clear click can be heard. Check whether the camera is firmly in place.

Ready assembled dome camera with bubble.
Note: The clear bubble is included in delivery of the camera. By request, this may be exchanged against the tinted bubble (included in
delivery of the housing for ceiling installation). To assemble the dome, unscrew the grub screw on the housing ring (black) of the camera
and remove the ring. Place clear or tinted bubble onto the camera and secure to the camera by means of the grub screw.
