In mode you can determine the surface temperature
of objects such as water, milk, clothing or other objects.
However, only the radiated temperature of the relevant
surface is displayed.
Measurement in "surface temperature" mode
does not give any indication of body

temperature and may not therefore be used for
diagnosing fever.
Do not use the measurement to assess
temperature inside a substance. It may be

much higher. Incorrect conclusions may lead to
burns or scalds.
For measuring in
close as possible to the relevant surface.
Note The further away you move, the larger the
range measured and thus also the larger the
potential measuring inaccuracies.
If you press the SCAN button briefly, just one
measurement is performed and displayed immediately.
Press and hold the SCAN button to constantly update
the measured temperature and its display.
This function is valid only with forehead measurement.
For every new temperature measurement, the result
from the previous measurement will be shown at the top
of the LCD display for comparison purposes.
