Warning and safety instructions
Use only accessory parts expressly approved for the device.
Keep the protective cap out of the reach of children. There is a
risk of choking.
Do not hold the NUK Flash Thermometer in your hands for any
longer than necessary, otherwise the device will warm up and
may read a body temperature which is too low when checking for
fever.
Before each measurement, ensure that the reflective mirror and
the sensor lens are clear and clean, otherwise the measurement
may be inaccurate.
Use of the device is not a substitute for examination by a doctor.
Find out the values which are critical to you and consult a doctor
as soon as these values are exceeded. The same applies to
measuring results which are ambiguous.
The person having their body temperature taken should avoid any
fluctuating ambient temperatures for at least 5 minutes before the
measurement. You should also avoid any strenuous physical
activity or taking a bath for at least 30 minutes before the
measurement.
