Remove the protective cap from the probe head

Keep the device in the centre of the forehead just above the

eyes, about 2 to 3 cm away.

Briefly press the SCAN button.
A long beep is heard and the egg timer symbol
starts flashing in the display.
As soon as the measurement is complete, this symbol
disappears, followed by two short beeps.

Read the temperature measured off the LCD display.
If you would like to perform a further measurement,
this is possible as soon as the egg timer symbol
has disappeared. To do so, please repeat steps

After about 1 minute, if there are no further
measurements, the thermometer automatically switches
from measuring mode to room temperature mode; this
can be seen from the temperature symbol
