USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PURPOSE

The NUK Flash Thermometer is designed for non-contact measurement of human body
temperature on the forehead. Its infrared technology also enables the temperature of
surfaces (such as bath water and baby food, for example) to be determined simply and
reliably. You need to be aware that this mode is a surface measurement. Select suitable
other methods for determining core temperature. Room temperature can also be measured.
With the battery supplied, the NUK Flash Thermometer is immediately ready for use. It also
has a storage function to enable temperature to be observed over time.
The NUK Flash Thermometer is intended solely for private use indoors, not for commercial
use in surgeries or hospitals. The NUK Flash Thermometer was developed for use by adults
and young people. Such people must be in possession of full physical, sensory and mental
capacity and have sufficient knowledge of how to use infrared thermometers. Children may
not use the device, young people only if they have received instruction beforehand.
Under no circumstances is the NUK Flash Thermometer a substitute for examination by a
doctor.
Use of the product other than that described here or any modification to the product is
prohibited and may lead to injuries to the patient or operator and/or to damage to the
product. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from use not in
accordance with purpose.
Despite use in accordance with purpose and careful handling in accordance with
the information in the instructions for use, it is possible that more than 3 years

Faulty temperature results could lead to incorrect diagnosis and therefore have
