Warning and safety instructions
Make sure that the forehead is dry and free from dirt and
cosmetics during the measurement. Avoid placing the device on
any scarred areas.
If a fever alarm is indicated during the temperature measurement,
keep body temperature under continuous observation and, if the
person's condition is uncertain, consult a doctor.
Measurement in "surface temperature" mode does not give any
indication of body temperature and may not be used for
diagnosing fever.
Do not use the result for surface temperature measurement to
assess temperature inside a substance. It may be much higher.
Incorrect conclusions may lead to burns or scalds.
Keep the battery out of the reach of children. There is a risk of
choking.
The battery must be replaced as soon as the "battery empty"
symbol appears in the LCD display.
Do not immerse the device in water or expose it to direct
moisture. Avoid the reflective mirror steaming up.
