How to Use
1. Before testing a battery installed on a vehicle, make sure that the board is in the OFF position and that all the
accessories are off. Close all the doors of the vehicle as well as the boot door.
2. Make sure that you have inserted 4 AA alkaline batteries into the tester slot. If the internal batteries are low, when
the tester is connected to the battery to test, the words "INTERNAL BATTERY LOW" will appear on the screen;
replace them with new batteries before starting the test.
3. Make sure that the battery terminals are clean; clean them with a metal brush, if need be. Connect the black clamp
terminal to the negative terminal and the red clamp terminal to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery
respectively.
4. Battery Test
4.1. Press
to select the battery test. Press
4.2. Press
to select the battery type: VRLA/GEL/AGM or STANDARD SLI.

to confirm.
4.3. Press
to select the battery standard: SAE, EN, IEC, DIN or JIS
Press
to confirm.
4.4. Press
to input the battery capacity: SAE 40-2000; EN 40-2100; IEC 30-1500; DIN 25-1300.
4.5. Press
to start the test.
4.6. Press
if requested by the tester, to select whether the battery is completely charged. Press
confirm.
4.7. When the test is completed, press

SOC (STATE OF CHARGE)}.The tester will display one of the following results:
4.7.1. GOOD & PASS The battery is in good condition and can keep the charge.
4.7.2. GOOD & RECHARGE The battery is in good condition, although it needs to be recharged.
4.7.3. RECHARGE & RETEST The battery is low; the battery condition cannot be determined until it is
completely recharged.
4.7.4. BAD & REPLACE The battery will not keep the charge. It should be replaced immediately.
4.7.5. BAD CELL & REPLACE The battery has at least one short-circuited cell. It should be replaced
immediately.
4.7.6. LOAD ERROR The tested battery exceeds 2000CCA or 200Ah; some electrical accessories are still on
or the clamps have not been connected correctly. Charge the battery and test it again. If the display
appears again, the battery should be replaced immediately.
4.8. Press
to select the result print option: YES or NO. Press

to go back to the starting point or remove the test clamps from the battery poles after completing
the battery test to finish the test.
