Switching sequences

Switching sequences are series of cameras that are shown consecutively in a pre-set order and for a pre-
set time.
Each sequence consists of max. 32 cameras, each of which can be shown for a time ranging from 1 to 600
seconds. The cameras may be repeated within a sequence and take any order.
3.4.13.1 Defining and modifying the switching sequences
If sequences are to be used they must first be defined.
The definition screen suggests the list of 32 available switching sequences, and for each one shows the
series of first cameras. If a sequence is empty (the cameras have not been defined) fixed camera 1 will be
shown. Any missing step in the sequence will be ignored.
After choosing the sequence to define or modify press
Inside the edit submenu scroll through the 32 available steps and request a change by pressing
enter the time (from 1 to 600 seconds) and the camera to be shown.
Notes
From 1 to 180 seconds the camera is shown continuously; from 181 to 400 seconds in 5 second steps; from 401 to
600 seconds in 10 second steps. Inserting a time of 0 seconds or pressing the
cancel the step.
If a requested camera is not enabled (it is not connected) a '?' is shown between the camera number and the
beginning of the ID text. The presence of a '?' means there is probably an error in defining the cameras present or in
their use within the switching sequence.
The top right of the display shows the total length of the sequence, the time after which it will be repeated. If the
symbol '?' is shown this means that one or more cameras included in the sequence are not connected.
3.4.13.2 Assigning switching sequences
After the switching sequences have been defined, the sequence to be shown must be assigned to each
monitor (or two sequences, if there are closed periods).


3.4.13.2.1 Auto-return time
Auto-return time is the time passing between manual selection of a camera by the operator and automatic
return to the switching sequence (between 1 and 60 minutes). If set to 0 it is disabled.

Alarms

(Are alarms used?)
The matrix is supplied with 32 alarm contacts, which are defined as normally closed or normally open.
Alarm contacts that are not used should be set up as not used to prevent false signals in the event of
disturbance. An alarm is acknowledged if the corresponding actuating signal is at least 30ms long.
Each alarm has the following settings:

alarm event reset mode

enabled periods

the effect on each monitor in the event of an alarm
