Move the monitor to different places in the house to check that reception is good.
If you encounter interference or other problems, please read the "maintenance" chapter.
b. Connecting the camera
• Connect the 5V adapter to the camera "power supply" connector (10 fi g.2). Read the indications on the
adapter carefully
• Plug the adapter into a mains power outlet.
It is imperative that the camera is connected inside the building.
• You can either place it on a fl at surface or attach it to the wall using a screw.
• Press ON/OFF for 2 seconds to start the camera
c. Infrared lighting
• The infrared diodes produce light that is invisible to the naked eye.
• Infrared lighting turns on automatically in the dark (1.5 lux: provide extra lighting at night).

4. INSTALLING THE MONITOR

a. Monitor description (fi g.3)
1. 9cm (3.5") LCD screen
2. Battery charge indicator (orange: charging)
3. On/off light indicator
4. Sound volume indicators (4 blue leds: view-meter)
5. Navigation buttons (menu & motorised camera sweep) (Please note that the sound is cut when the camera
is navigating)
6. Settings button / • Validation button when settings are complete
7. OK button / Camera selection button (cam1, cam2, cam3, cam4, sweep, etc.)
8. Screen on/off button (if 'camera' logo = view: used to put the screen on automatic standby. Set 10 sec. timer.
The screen lights if there is noise. If 'camera' logo = scan, automatic standby is not active.)
9. Communications button (press to speak/release to listen)
10. On/Off button (press down for 2 secs. to turn on or off)
11. Speaker
12. Microphone
13. Support stand
14. Aerial
15. 5V Socket
16. A/V socket.
b. Installing the monitor
WARNING
Only place the monitor on hard stable surfaces inside the building.
Select a location away from reinforced concrete walls, mirrors, metal shelves, etc. Place the monitor at a
distance from any devices that create strong electric interference. Any strong electric environment can cause
interference and disrupt use (especially WIFI).
The camera/monitor kit is factory paired. Do not use the camera from another kit without contacting our
hotline (0892 350 069)
