WARNING
If the heated underblanket is used continuously (for several hours) it is
recommended to use the lowest setting of the control to avoid overheat-
ing of the user.
NOTE:
• This heated underblanket has a rapid heating function, allowing for faster warming in
the first 15 minutes.
• The quickest way to heat up the heated underblanket is to select the highest temperature
setting of the control, first.
• We strongly recommend switching on the heated underblanket approx. 30 minutes before going to
bed and covering it with the quilt to prevent the warmth from escaping.

4.5 Automatic switch-back

NOTE:
This electric underblanket features an automatic switch-back for safety purposes. Temperature settings
6 and 5 are automatically switched to temperature setting 4 after 3 hours.
4.6 Selecting the automatic switch-off time
You can use the sliding switch for ON/OFF and switch-off times (4) to set the automatic switch-off time to
2, 6, 9 or 12 hours. The electric underblanket is automatically switched off once the set switch-off time has
elapsed. This is indicated by a flashing temperature setting.
To re-heat the electric underblanket, first set the sliding switch for ON/OFF and switch-off times to the switch
position "0" (off) for approx. 5 seconds, and then select the desired switch-off time.
You can change the switch-off time at any time. The set switch-off time begins following a change.
If the electric underblanket will not be used after timed switch-off, it should be switched off (position "0") or
the mains plug should be removed from the mains socket.

4.7 Switching off

Set the ON/OFF slider (4) to the OFF (0) position to switch off the electric underblanket. After switching off
the temperature setting is not illuminated any more.
NOTE:
If the heated underblanket won't be used for several days, switch it off (Slider to setting "0"/OFF) and
remove the supply plug from the mains outlet.

5. Cleaning and care

WARNING
Always remove the supply plug from the mains outlet and remove the
switch from the heated underblanket by disconnecting it at the con-
nector.
CAUTION
• The switch must never get in contact to water or other liquids. Otherwise the switch may be damaged.
To clean the heated underblanket and the switch use a dry, lint-free cloth. To remove stains from the heated
underblanket use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild cleaning agent. Do not use cleaning agents contain-
ing solvent or scouring agents.
