5. Operation

5.1 Getting started

• Remove the packaging.
• Check the foot warmer, the power supply unit and the cable for damage.
• Connect the foot warmer to the mains by inserting the power supply cord into the middle of the
control panel (to the rear of the foot warmer) and then connecting the power supply device to the
mains socket.
• Ensure that the cable cannot trip anybody up.
• In order to start the Shiatsu function, press the "Massage"
button on the control panel. Press the "Massage" button
again in order to turn the function off.
• To start the warming function, press the "

• When the warming function is turned on, a red LED lights

• If too much pressure is exerted on the massage heads, the massage function will remain off due
to safety reasons. In order to use the Shiatsu foot warmer again, briefly pull the mains supply cord
from the control panel and then reinsert it.

5.2 Automatic shut-down

The foot warmer will shut-down after approx. 30 minutes for safety reasons. Press the "Massage" or
the "
" button again, if you wish to continue using the foot warmer.
Turn the foot warmer off and pull the mains supply unit from the mains socket if you do not wish to
continue using the foot warmer after shut-down.

6. Cleaning and Care

The footwarmer should be kept clean, as it may not be washed.
• Always disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet before cleaning the footwarmer.
• Smaller stains can be removed with a cloth or damp sponge, and if necessary, some liquid deter-
gent for delicate fabrics. The footwarmer may not be saturated in the process.
• Please note that the footwarmer may not be dried by machine, spun or dried, dry-cleaned, wrung
out, pressed or ironed.
• The removable lining is machine washable at 30 °C. Do not use the footwarmer again until it is
completely dry.
7. Storage
If you do not use the footwarmer for longer periods, we recommend storing it in the original
packaging in a dry place without weighing it down. Allow the footwarmer to cool down beforehand.
8. Disposal
Please dispose of the footwarmer in accordance with the Ordinance on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) 2002/96/EC. In case of inquiries, please contact the municipal
authorities responsible for waste disposal in your area.
