• This footwarmer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with restricted physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities and/or by persons lacking the required understanding of the
equipment and how it is used, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their
safety.
• Do not use for helpless persons, small children, persons insensitive to heat (e.g. diabetics, persons
with illness-related skin changes or scarred skin areas in the application area, after consuming
medications or alcohol).
• Do not use the footwarmer on parts of the body which are inflamed, injured or swollen. If in doubt,
seek medical advice prior to use.
• Excessively long use can cause the skin to be burned.
• Caution! Never fall asleep while the footwarmer is in operation.
• The electric and magnetic fields emitted by this footwarmer can interfere with the operation of
pacemakers. However, they are far below the permissible limits: electric field strength: maximum
of 5.000 V/m, magnetic field strength: maximum of 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: maximum of
0.1 millitesla. Therefore, please ask your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before
using this footwarmer.
• This footwarmer
– is only to be connected to the voltage specified on the appliance,
– is not to be operated without supervision,
– is not to be switched on when folded or compressed,
– is not to be pinched between objects,
– is not to be bent sharply,
– is not to be used with animals,
– is not to be used when damp.
• Only use in dry surroundings.
• Do not pull on, twist or sharply bend the cables.
• Do not stick pins, needles or sharp objects into this footwarmer.
• This footwarmer may not be used by children unless the switch has been preset by a parent or
supervisory person, or the child has been sufficiently instructed on how to use this footwarmer.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use the footwarmer as a toy.
• Use only the included power supply unit SO24 FV1200200.
• This footwarmer must be checked often for signs of wear or damage. If signs of this kind are
discovered, if the cables are damaged or if this footwarmer has been used improperly, it must be
taken either to the manufacturer or the dealer before further use.
• Repairs may only be carried out by specially trained personnel at a repair workshop, as special
tools are required. Incorrect repairs can lead to considerable danger to the user.

4. Proper Use

This product is intended for warming and massaging human feet. Do not use the footwarmer while
wearing shoes, as this will decrease your sensitivity to heat and soil the footwarmer. This footwarmer
is not intended for use in hospitals or for commercial applications. In particular, it may not be used
for infants, small children, persons insensitive to heat, helpless persons or animals. The footwarmer
may smell of plastic when used for the first time, but this soon stops.
