WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, never under any circumstances cover the
appliances during operation.
WARNING: Observe recommended safety distances from surrounding objects. Keep a
distance of at least 0.8m from the front and 0.5m from the top and sides to all flammable
objects during operation.
Auto Shut-off Timer Function [TIMER button]
Press the TIMER button on remote control (Fig.2) to select your preferred timer hour from
1h-2h-3h-4h-cancel for automatic shut off by each press.
This function is operative only while HEAT function is ON.
The TIME indicator on Indicating Panel (Fig.1) will light up different brightness or light off
according to your setting.
PIR Economy function [ECONOMY button on Remote control]
The PIR economy feature enables the heater to automatically shut down its heating
function when not in use. The PIR Economy Sensor on Indicating Panel (Fig.1) constantly
monitors people's movements up to a distance of 4 meters. If does not detect movement in
4 minutes, it will switch the heating off to be safe and economic.
The heating won't be on afterwards unless you operate from the remote controller.
Press the ECONOMY button on remote control (Fig.2) to turn ON the function, and the
Economy indicator on Indicating Panel (Fig.1) will light up, press the button again to turn
OFF the function.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
CLEANING
•
Disconnect from the mains and let it cool down before cleaning and storage.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents as they could damage the surface of the
appliance.
•
Never clean the appliance with easily flammable cleaning agents such as petrol or
spirit.
•
Clean the appliance with a lightly moistened cloth.
•
The heating rods are best cleaned with a brush with long soft bristles.
•
Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquid.
•
If the Aluminum reflector is very dirty use a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any
cleaning detergents, sprays or other chemicals, as they will damage the unit. A dirty
reflector reduces heater output.
STORAGE
•
Always disconnect the appliance, let it completely cool and clean it before storing.
•
When the heater is not in use for a long period, clean and place in a cover and store in
a dry place.
•
Do not place any heavy items on top of carton during storage as this may damage the
appliance.
