Storing the leisure battery 
Charged batteries, if left inactive, are subject to self-discharge losses.
However, if the batteries are inactive for too long, they can undergo deep discharge, which voids the warranty and makes recharging difficult. It can
also permanently compromise their performance and lifespan.
To prevent this occurring, do not let the battery's charge drop below 12.2 V. It is therefore recommended to store the battery in a cool place (around
10-15°C) and fully recharge it at least every two months.
The main cause of battery deterioration is sulphation (80% of cases).
With advanced sulphation, a white powder may be visible around the terminals.
Protecting the environment
Batteries contain substances that damage the environment. Used batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly
manner and in accordance with the applicable regulations.
