ChAPter 4. TRAVELLING
4.1

SAFETY CHECKS BEFORE DEPARTURE

Before taking to the road, systematically check that all signalling devices (indicators, main-beam, dipped, hazard lights, horn, etc.) are functioning
correctly. However, some precautions are necessary to avoid incidents.
·
Check that all taps and valves are closed,
·
Lock the refrigerator door,
·
Close the doors to the wardrobe and bathroom,
·
Close the windows,
·
Close the skylights,
·
Lock the cupboards,
·
Do not leave items on the tables or kitchen workbench,
·
Retract the step (automatic closing) (*),
·
Disconnect the external 230 V power cable,
(*) After starting the vehicle, a beep will alert you if:
·
The kitchen drawers have not been locked (beep will stop once they are locked),
·
The step is still out (it will automatically retract after the engine is started - the beep will sound during the process).
Warning, risk of injury
You vehicle is fitted with a gas system enabling the use of gas heating while driving.
Ensure you turn off all other gas-powered appliances.
·
Close the living area door,
·
Switch the refrigerator to 12 V (only functions when the engine is
running) or automatic (check the refrigerator instructions),
·
Check that the cooking appliances (hob, oven (option)) are off,
·
Check that all external hatches (storage area, service compartment)
are closed,
·
Check that the adjustable TV bracket is locked,
·
Retract the satellite antenna (automatically closes when engine starts).
