Warning, risk of injury
Failure to follow these instructions may lead to dangerous situations in case of sudden braking or collision.

3.3.4 TRAILER

The trailer weight must be less than or equal to:
·
the maximum towable mass for your motorhome (see
"3.3.1 Technical specifications", page 122),
·
the maximum authorised mass for your coupling.
The latter is calculated based on the value D (in kN)
indicated on the coupling, using the following formula:
MR = (D x T) ÷ [(9.8 x T) - D]
Where T = maximum authorised mass of your vehicle (in tonnes). For example, if T = 3.5 t and D = 12.5 kN, then MR = 2 tonnes.
Important: risk to your safety
Pay close attention to remaining within your vehicle's maximum authorised mass.
Note
The number of authorised seats and mass in running order are carefully calculated in accordance with European regulations. They only allow for
basic configurations and standard fittings with a +/- 5% tolerance. Mass in Running Order includes fresh water tanks filled to 15% and fuel tanks filled
to 90%, plus one bottle of gas filled to 90% and the weight of the driver, set at 75 kg.
Contact your dealer if you wish to add items that might affect this data.
This 5% margin was selected by European regulations to take into account possible motorhome weight variations due to manufacturing variations
in the base vehicle and the living area: external metal sheets with a variable average thickness, humidity rate for porous components, etc. To cover
these manufacturing variations, Le Voyageur undertakes to deliver a motorhome whose actual unladen mass is within the 5 % tolerance compared
to the stated mass in running order used for certification purposes.
Contact your dealer for any further information.
