Long-term vehicle storage

Disconnect the leisure battery. On Mercedes, use the battery shut-off in the electrical cabinet. On Fiat, remove the battery's red terminal. Lithium
batteries have an inbuilt battery shut-off.

Disconnect the engine battery from the system by unplugging the B1 unit connector located on the right, or using the battery shut-off.
If the vehicle remains immobilised for a long period in severe cold, remove the batteries and keep them at a moderate temperature.

Batteries are dangerous items. While handling the battery, do not smoke or create sparks. Electrolyte is a corrosive product. In the
event of contact, rinse yourself thoroughly with fresh water.
