II.2.2
ACCESSORIES SUPPLIED LOOSE
KSA - Rubber anti-vibration mountings.
KA - Inertial storage tank of 20 l (models 105-107) and 30 l (models
109-112) loc ated under the unit c omplete with expansi on tank, safety
val ve (6 Barg), charge/drai nage val ve and automatic air vent valve.
KTC - External pipes for water connection between unit and storage
tank.
KFA - Water filter.
KRAA - Antifreeze heater on s torage tank.
KTR - Remote keypad for c ontr ol at a distance with rear illuminated
LCD display (same functions as the one built into the mac hine).
KPBY - Low pressure switc h.
KRIT – Supplementary electric heater for heat pump.
KEAP – External air sensor for Set-point compens ation (incompatible
with C S acc essor y).
KVDEV – 3-way di verter val ve for managing the production of domestic
hot water.
KSC - Clock board to displ ay date/time and to regulate the mac hine
with dail y/weekl y start/stop ti me bands, with the possibility to c hange
the s et-points.
KRS485 - RS 485 s erial interface card to create interconnection
networ ks between cards ( maxi mum of 200 units at a maxi mum distanc e
of 1,000) and buildi ng automati on, external s uper vision s ystems or
RHOSS super vision s ys tems (protocols s upported: proprietar y
protoc ol;Modbus® RTU).
KFTT10 - FTT10 s erial interface c ard for connection to super vision
systems (LonWorks® s ys tem compliant with Lonmar k® 8090-10
protoc ol with c hiller profile).
KISI - CAN bus serial interfac e (Controller Area Network c ompatible
with evol ved hydronic s ystem
management (protocol s upported CanOpen®).
KRS232 - RS485/RS232 serial c onverter for interconnection between
RS485 serial networ k and super vision s ystems with serial connection to
PC vi a RS232 s erial port (RS232 c able provided).
KUSB - RS485/U SB s erial converter for interconnection between
RS485 serial networ k and super vision s ystems with serial connection to
PC vi a USB port (USB cable provided).
KMDM – GSM 900-1800 modem kit to be c onnected to the unit or the
management of the parameters and any alar m signals on a remote
basis. The kit c onsists of a GSM modem with relati ve RS232 card. It is
necess ary to purc hase a SIM data card, not supplied by RHOSS S.p.A.
KRS – RHOSS S.p.A. s upervision s oftware for unit monitoring and
remote management. T he kit c onsists of a CD-Rom and hardware key.
Description and fitting instructions are supplied with each
accessor y.
II.3
TRANSPORT - HANDLING - S TORAGE
DANGER !
The unit must be transported and handled by skilled
personnel trained to carr y out this type of work.

SECTION II: INST ALL ATION AND MAINTEN ANCE
II.3.1
PACKAGING, COMPONENTS
DANGER !
Do not open or tamper with the p ackaging b efore
installation. Do not leave the packaging within
reach of childr en.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROT ECTION
Dispose of the p ackaging m aterials in compliance
with the n ational or local legislation in force in your
country.
The units ar e delivered:
• protected at the top by pol ystyrene;
• tied down by two straps;
• fixed to a pallet by 4 screws;
• covered with nylon s hrink-wrap.
Each unit is supplied complete with:
• instructions for use;
• wiring diagram;
• list of authorised s er vice centres;
• warranty document;
• use and maintenanc e manual of the circul ation pump (P models).
II.3.2
LIFTING AND HANDLING
DANGER !
Movement of the unit should be performed with
care, in ord er to avoid dam age to the extern al
structure and to the internal mech anical and
electrical components.
Also make sure that ther e are no obst acles or
people blocking the route, to avoid the danger of
collision or cru shing. Make sure that ther e is no
possibilit y of the lifting-gear overturning.
The unit is s upplied on a wooden s upport struc ture. This struc ture
serves to facilitate unit trans port using a for klift or a hand truc k. Use this
method to transport the unit to the i nstallati on position.
On arrival at the fi nal installation site, remove the wooden s ubs tructure
(unscrew the 4 screws). Pass the straps through the slots i n the bas e of
the unit, having first chec ked their suitability (as regards their strength
and state of wear and tear). Take the s train on the slings, chec ki ng that
they remain pr operl y attac hed to the lifti ng-hook; lift the unit a few
centi metres , then, only after chec king the stability of the load, slide the
pallet out, taking care not to trap any parts of the body, in order to
eliminate any possibl e risk of cr ushing or any other injur y if the load
drops or shifts s uddenly. Carefull y carr y the unit to the i nstallation site.
Lower the unit c arefully and fi x it into plac e.
