in/out water temperature via the displ ay; of the alarms via the display;
and of c ooling/heat-pump operating mode vi a displ ay;
• self-diagnosis with continuous monitoring of the func tioni ng of the
unit;
• user interface menu;
• alarm c ode and descripti on;
• alarm histor y management (menu protected by manufactur er
pass word).
SECTION II: INST ALL ATION AND MAINTEN ANCE
○ The followi ng is memorized for each alarm:
• date and time of inter venti on (if the KSC accessor y is present);
• alarm c ode and descripti on;
• inlet/outlet water temperatur es when the alar m intervened;
• alarm delay time from the s witc h-on of the connected device;
• compressor status at moment of alarm;
○ Advanced functions:
• the water s hutoff s olenoid c ompletel y clos es the hydraulic circuit on
the s upply side when the c ompressors are s witched off, with delays set
on the electronic board (when using well water or mains water);
• configured for s erial connec tion (KR S485, KFTT10, KRS232 and
KUSB acc essor y);
• possibility to have a digital input for remote management of double
set point (c ontact RHOSS pre-sal es );
• possibility to have an analogue input for the scrolling set-point via a
4-20mA remote signal (c ontact RHOSS pre-s ales );

II.2.1
FACTORY FITTED ACCESSORIES
VP – Pressos tatic val ve onl y for models TCHEY that modulates the
water flow rate to the c ondenser, mai ntai ning the condensation
pressure c onstant. This is i n general us eful when the mac hine is r un
with a s et point that is greatl y i nferior than the design one without
adjusti ng, for the actual amount of heat to be rejected, the water flow
rate and/or the c ondenser inlet water temperature; when the well or city
water coming into the c ondenser has a temperature of less than 15°C
(the temperature differ ential ∆T for city water through the condenser is
inclusive in the range12 ÷ 18°C); when the water c omi ng into the
condens er is less than 25°C with ∆T l ess than 12°C (the temperature
differential ∆T for water through the c ondens er is inclusi ve in the r ange
5 ÷ 15°C) the temperatur e of condenser outl et water must not however
exc eed 52°C (see operating li m i ts).
VPS – Press ostatic val ve and s olenoid hydraulic bypass val ve onl y for
models THHEY. Hydraulic s olenoid valve ins talled hydraulicall y parallel
to the pressostatic valve (see acc essor y VP). In chiller operating mode,
the s olenoid val ve is clos ed. This allows the water to flow through the
pressostatic val ve which will then perform its function of flow rate
adjustment. In heat pump operating mode it is completel y opened. This
offsets the functi on of the press ostatic val ve.
HPH – The HPH acc essor y c an be i nstalled onl y on versions without a
circulating pump ( both on user and r ejection side) and without the VP-
VPS access ory. The acc essor y consists of the s ole adjus tment logic for
the management of the cold unit (TCHEY) as the hot water producer, by
inverting the hydraulic circuit. All the necess ary components and pi pes
to invert the hydraulic c ycle are to be set up by the installer. Refer to the
hydraulic layouts at the end of the document.
HPH-CC – The HPH-CC access ory includes the H PH and the VPS to
manage c ondens ation control in summer mode and the bypass vi a the
solenoid in winter mode. It c an onl y be i nstalled in the versions with no
circulation pump ( utility side as well as dis posal unit side). T he
accessor y c onsists of the sole adj ustment logic for the management of
the c old unit (TCHEY) as the hot water producer, by inverting the
hydraulic circuit. All the necess ary components and pipes to i nvert the
hydraulic c ycle are to be s et up by the installer. Refer to the hydr aulic
layouts at the end of the document.
