Weighing

Positioning the scales
1. Place the scales on an even, firm, and dry surface. Do not place the scales on carpet.
2. First, briefly step onto the middle of the weighing surface to calibrate the scale. As
soon as the display shows "0.0", calibration is complete.
This calibration must be performed after each battery change.

WARNING against injuries
− Do not step onto the scales with wet feet or when its surface is damp.
Risk of slipping!
− Position yourself on the scales. Remain standing still and do not hold on to
anything.
The scale switches on and the display flashes shortly afterwards:
The weight measurement and the room temperature are displayed in the selected
units of measure.
A few seconds after you step off the weighing surface, the scales will switch off
automatically.
‚ The weight is displayed for up to approx. 10 seconds after leaving the
scale. When you step on the weighing platform using slight force, the
display shows „0.0" and you can weigh yourself again.
‚ Weigh yourself with as little clothing on as possible.
‚ Try to weigh yourself always at the same time and under consistent
conditions in order to obtain comparable values.

Resetting the scales

Reset the scales to factory settings if unusual or obviously incorrect values are shown
on the display.
1. Remove the battery from the battery compartment and wait a moment.
2. Re-insert the battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the battery (+/-).
After switching the scales on, you can weigh yourself as usual.
