Before using the appliance for the first time,
wash the interior and all internal accesso-

brand-new product, then dry thoroughly.

5. DAILY USE

5.1 Freezing fresh food
The freezer compartments (the first and the
second boxes) are suitable for freezing
fresh food and storing frozen and deep-fro-
zen food for a long time.
To freeze fresh food activate the fast freeze

The maximum amount of food that can be
frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rat-

the appliance.
The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during
this period do not add other food to be fro-
zen.
The freezing tray can be used for freezing
small fruits (raspberry, strawberry, currant,
etc.).
Place a thin layer of the unpacked fruits in
the tray. Once they are frozen, the fruits
can be packed, sorted and placed in the
storing compartments.

When first starting-up or after a period out

If the Fast Freeze Switch is acci-

switched off 48 hours later. The
Yellow Fast Freeze Indicator light
will also go out.
Do not use detergents or abrasive
powders, as these will damage the

2 hours on the higher settings.
In the event of accidental defrost-

failure, if the power has been off for
longer than the value shown in the
technical characteristics chart un-
der "rising time", the defrosted food
must be consumed quickly or
cooked immediately and then re-
frozen (after cooling).
5.3 Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being
used, can be thawed at room temperature.
Small pieces may even be cooked still fro-
zen, directly from the freezer: in this case,
cooking will take longer.
