With working times of more than 4 hours, a working seat with lumbar support and the possibility of leg relief must be used in

6.4 Sizing and settings of Haberkorn belts, work positioning belts, full body harnesses and
sit harnesses
Before first use, a test of comfort and adjustability should be carried out in a safe and protected place. Here you should ensure that
the full body harness, work positioning belt or sit harness is the right size, has enough settings and features for the intended
purpose and a sufficient degree of comfort.
It is essential for user safety that work positioning belts, full body harnesses or sit harnesses are properly adjusted in size. Work
positioning belts, full body harnesses and sit harnesses should have a close fit on the body, without restricting body movement or
compressing it. A full body harness without integrated sit harness must be adjusted differently than a full body harness in a system
for rope access. With harnesses in fall arrest systems, a tighter fit to the body is necessary because the harness slips on the body
when a fall occurs. With harnesses in a system for a rope access, more attention must be paid to convenience, since the user leans
or sits in the system.
A harness with an arresting point on the back must be set such that the arresting point is at the height of the shoulder blades. A
harness with an additional arresting point in the chest area must be adjusted to ensure that the rear arresting point between the
shoulder blades and the front arresting point is on the breastbone at the lower end. It must also be ensured that the fully applied
harness sits symmetrically on the body, all loose strap ends are tended to and no straps and/or components are twisted.
Buckle frame:
The adjustment range is shortened by pulling on the loose end of the strap.
The adjustment range can be increased by raising the lower frame buckle and simultaneously pulling.
Clip buckle:
The buckle can be opened by pressing the pushers.
By pulling on the loose end of the strap, the adjustment range is shortened.
The adjustment range is increased by lifting the buckle, simultaneously twisting inwards and pulling.
For simple and easy handling of the adjustment options on the buckles we recommend:
1.
open the buckles
2.
adjust the desired size
3.
close the buckle back and check the fit
4.
readjust if necessary
