Clean the brazier and its grate with a brush or vacuum cleaner. If the slots
in the grate are blocked, use a pointed instrument to clear them (see figure

Clean the space beneath the brazier and the space under the ash drawer
with a vacuum cleaner.
G
Open slots and a clean grille in the combustion chamber are of key
importance to the proper burning of the pellets.
5.
Put the brazier and the ash drawer back into the stove. Make sure the bra-
zier is refitted correctly. Make sure the large opening is near the ignition
rod (as indicated in figures 22 & 23). If the brazier is refitted incorrectly, the
stove will not be lit.
7.5 CLEANING THE HEAT EXCHANGER
The heat exchanger needs to be cleaned daily with the help of a scraper. Make sure
the unit is switched off and the stove door closed. Move the scraper handle, which
is mounted on the outlet grille (see figure 24) forwards and then back. Repeat this
action 5 or 6 times until you no longer feel any resistance from the scraper.
7.6 CLEANING THE HEARTH
First clean the heat exchanger (see section 7.5, Cleaning the heat exchanger).
1.
Remove the brazier and ash drawer. See section 7.4
2.
Remove the heat shield located at the top of the stove. See Figure 25.
3.
Now remove the inner plates from the hearth.
Remove the two screws and take the plating out of the stove. See Figures 26,
27 and 28.
4.
Remove the back plate on the left and right-hand sides. See Figures 29 and
30.
5.
Remove the burner pot holder. See Figure 31.
6.
Remove the bottom plates on the left and right-hand sides. See Figures 32
and 33.
7.
Remove the grid in front of the air vent. See Figure 34.
8.
Clean the hearth, the area beneath the brazier and the plating with a brush
and a vacuum cleaner.
9.
After cleaning all the parts that have been removed, fit them back into the
hearth in reverse order.
Tip for replacing the back plate: First replace the top of the back plate
G
(see Figure 34). Make sure that the top of the back plate fits into the
notches at the top of the stove (shown with arrow in Figures 32 and 33).
Then press the back plate as far to the back of the stove as possible and
allow it to slide down a little.
